REA have already received applications of more than 180 interested parties to set up their units in SEZ. REA had organized a seminar on SEZ in January-2007 To give complete information and latest development in rules and its provisions Etc., wherein 300 participants were remained presents .

REA made a MOU with Gujarat Government during vibrant Gujarat 2007, For setting up SEZ project about rupees 750 Crore and expected to give employment to approximately 22500 persons .

REA has set up a special purpose vehicle (SPV) named REA ECONOMIC ZONE PVT LTD., by preparing a memorandum & article of association and have already got registration from the Registrar of Companies, which will act as a developer .

At present , the process of acquiring land of approximately 110 Hectares are in pipeline for which we are getting Co-Operation from District Collector and other concerned officials.

On completion of these formalities, we shall approach to State Government and subsequently the Board of Approval (BOA) at Central Government to get final approval .
