Any Small Scale Industry, which deals in any engineering product or job work within the limit of 50 kms of Rajkot City, which has the Small Scale Industry Certificate and shops and establishment or factory inspector's certificate can become the regular member with the condition to obey the constitution of the Rajkot Engineering Association.

According to the constitutional laws of the association, any person, organization, industry or other industries which can not be the regular member, needs the guidance of the association and whose applicationfor the membership is considered legal by the board, they are supposed to submit letter of guarantee on own letterpad accoding to the specimen.

| (3) |
Membership year count starts from 1st April of current year to 31st March of next year, hence, the intimation letter, of payment for the next year's subscription, will be sent to those too who registers in the last month.
|
|
| (4) |
The amount of the subscription will be as the turnover stated below which is to be paid by all the members. This rate is likely to change and is applicable to all the members.

Copies of the salestax registration, small scale industry certificate, partnership letter, director's memorandum, etc., to be submitted to get the new membership or to issue the membership. The application of the firm, which would not produce, will be liable for rejection.

Member unit has to appoint its own authorized representative according to the constitutional act code 17(1). This appointment can be made from one of the process given below.
(a) Personal Ownership Firm: Owner himself can appoint any one person as an authorized representative.
(b) Partnership Firm: Maximum two partners among the partners of the firm can be appointed as authorized representatives, whose letter should be produced duely signed by the Managing Partner / All Partners.
(c) Pvt. Ltd. and Ltd. Firm: Managers from the management committee or including manager with full authority, in the limit of total two can be appointed as authorized representatives. This circular of appointment is to be produced duely signed by the managing director.

After getting the form with complete details as above, along with the correspondence address and home address, phone number etc., details and along with the documents to be submitted, if required, the representative of an association will visit the unit, inquire the details then produce the application in the meeting of the membership committee, which, if approved, fees will be accepted.
